The museum houses Angelo Sessa’s collection, one of the most prestigious nationwide. It is located in an ancient and distinctive building with vaulted ceilings in the town of Oliveto.
Affiliated to the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation, the museum traces the communication’s history from the dawn to the present day.
On display are over 500 pieces: radio, many with brand “Marconi ” of foreign origin, televisions, telegraphs, telephones, phonographs, gramophones, tape recorders, imaginative novelty- transistor radio, a very rare model of old equipment the “red tent” by Umberto Nobile during shipment to the North Pole, memorabilia and a small library.
